Going on a Picnik...

I had a lot of fun with this one! I chose a picture of me and a gymnast at the Dance Moves and Gymnastics Spring Recital in May. I took a couple pictures, but this one is the better of the two, but was too dark to really show. I imported my photo albums from Facebook because I wanted to use a personal picture, but didn't have one handy at work. It was very nice to have all of my pictures that I had already uploaded readily available to me. I was happy that I was able to lighten it and take some of the glare away. The only thing I'm not happy with is that the edited picture is a little more pixelated. I was going to work on this more, but I was working on this at the end of my shift, and had to save it. However, when I saved it, I did not realize that it would automatically show up on my Facebook profile. I was pretty confused when I got home and saw that I had two likes on my picture! For my other edit, I worked with the saturation and tempurature to make a black and white-esque picture (and I figured out how to not save it to Facebook!) All in all, I'm glad I learned more about Picnik, and I plan on using it more to edit my (and my camera's) mistakes!
